What We’re All About
The Freese Brothers Big Band is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes.
The Mission of the Band is to:
- (i) foster an appreciation of music from the “big band” and subsequent eras by the public at large;
- (ii) provide financial and other support to and encourage development of the musical talents of the citizens of the State of New Hampshire;
- (iii) provide an organizational structure that will unite its membership in the common pursuit of performing “big band” musical events on a not-for-profit basis, for the pleasure and social welfare of the general public.”
To facilitate our Mission, the Freese Brother’s Big Band has established the “Freese Brothers Big Band Memorial Scholarship “ for the benefit of music students throughout the State of New Hampshire.
